Get educated on the heroes who defended our country during World War II at the Naval Air Station Fort Lauderdale.

This museum opened its doors to the public in 1968 as the focal point to educate and excite others on the history of swimming in the USA and worldwide.

Dating back to 1901, the Stranahan House Museum is one of the oldest structures to survive in Broward County.
This was the trading post before Frank and Ivy Stranahan restored the structure and made it their home.

Las Olas seems like such a picturesque walk! I know for a fact my air craft loving husband would enjoy the Naval Air Station Museum. It’s great that there are soo many museums and cultural attractions. It’s a nice change from the usual beach, food and shopping (not that were complaining about that either ? ) We have always been to Miami and Orlando but Ft. Lauderdale is catching our attention now!
